Job Description The Placement Test Officer coordinates and administers English placement tests for students entering higher education courses. This role involves supporting test candidates, agents, and Admissions with setup, procedures, and results, while ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting. The officer also responds to queries, ensures fair testing practices, and assesses certificates to confirm students’ readiness. Additional duties include participating in meetings, managing records, complying with the Code of Conduct, and engaging in professional development. Key Responsibilities include: Set up and manage online placement tests for students applying to VET and higher education courses. Use IELTS rubrics to evaluate students' writing and speaking skills. Provide accurate and fair assessments based on established criteria. Analyse test results to determine if students are prepared for their respective tertiary courses. Offer recommendations for further study or support if necessary. Prepare a test result report and share with admissions team. Keep detailed records of student test results and assessments.
