Changing the way people engage with property requires a team of diverse thinkers. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Data Governance Manager, to ensure adherence to data governance policies, processes and standards for key data assets. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders including our data, legal, security, and product teams to promote best practices, document business rules for data usage and sharing (internal and third-party), embed minimum data management standards, and establish clear approval processes for data use or disclosure. You will be a key member of strategic initiatives run by Data Governance and supporting project teams in evaluating new and existing data providers, contributing to the overall data strategy, and implementing relevant parts across business units. The goal is to drive consistency in data management and increase data fluency within Domain. What you'll be doing Proactively guarantee adherence to all contractual, regulatory, and internal business rules regarding data assets (both internal and third-party sourced). Act as the primary subject matter expert, guiding the business on the appropriate and compliant use of data for new initiatives and use cases. Provide independent, consistent oversight and guidance for all strategic data partnerships and procurement. Lead initiatives to improve and maintain the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across the organisation. Develop and execute the data management strategy for the entire data lifecycle, from creation to implementation, ensuring data is handled according to organisational policies as it flows in and out of the business. Drive the successful rollout and ongoing development of the data governance framework across various projects and teams, fostering a culture of data stewardship and accountability. Implement and oversee the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) process across the business, ensuring privacy considerations are integrated into data-related projects from their inception. What we are looking for 5-7 years experience with implementing and operating data management across a large complex organisation Experience managing large business-critical data platforms Have a deep understanding of modern data architectures, data practices, and data technologies Experience driving end-to-end data processes across a business Experience building strategic platform roadmaps to deliver key organisational outcomes including improving governance, security, and privacy An understanding of relevant statutory frameworks applying to data governance Strong communication skills and stakeholder management .
