Position Overview Based at our Box Hill centre, which caters for 78 children across five rooms, you’ll have the unique opportunity to join a passionate team and build the brand from the ground up. With purpose-built facilities and engaging programs, this role offers the chance to make a real impact, shaping a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where children can thrive. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations, including budgets, staffing, and resources, while maintaining compliance and high-quality standards. Lead and motivate a team of educators, promoting collaboration, professional development, and a culture of excellence. Design and implement engaging learning programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and holistic development in children. Cultivate strong connections with families and the local community, encouraging participation and reinforcing the centre’s values. Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment, supporting the wellbeing of every child and educator. Qualifications and Skills Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Proven experience managing a centre with at least 50 licensed places, including a minimum of 2 years in a Centre Director role within an early childhood setting. Current paid Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR certification, and a National Police Check issued within the last 6 months. Strong knowledge of childcare regulations, compliance standards, and National Quality Standards. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
