The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Assistant to join the team at Broadmeadows You will be responsible for: General Duties Perform basic QC tasks to ensure parts meet business quality standards Scanning, taking photos and labelling of automotive parts Packaging and wrapping parts for transport to warehouse Loading stillages with parts and loading stillage on to transfer truck Assisting with stock and consumables counts Using scanners to ensure all parts are located correctly Ensure parts are collected from Dismantlers in a timely manner Ensure appropriate PPE worn and work area is kept clean Assist in washing Engines, Transmissions and other parts Assist in draining Fuel Buggies into allocated Fuel IBCs General yard and forklift duties as required The successful candidate will have the following: Specialist Knowledge MUST HAVE - Forklift license Knowledge of mechanical car parts and panels Understanding of the long-term goals and aspirations of the organization Experience & Skills Experience in yard maintenance Problem solving Able to work safely and efficiently both in a team environment and independently Well-developed interpersonal skills Strong written communication skills Able to professionally represent the organization We know that sometimes people need non-standard work hours and would be happy to discuss the options available in this role, or similar roles across our business.
