As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our long-term clients on a variety of material handling equipment which includes breakdowns, fault finding and servicing of our hire fleet. What's great about this role: Secure employment with a well-established, award-winning organization Competitive rates with $3000 Sign on Bonus and $150 birthday pay Great working condition with a ''family first'' culture Work autonomously with limited supervision Collaborative and supportive team Appropriate use of company car outside of business hours provided Duties: Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and breakdowns in a timely manner Maintain professional level of customer service Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets, and any other administrative components Upsell parts and service upgrades as appropriate Ensure the service van is stocked appropriately and maintained in a clean and satisfactory state and stored safely after hours Work in the workshop as appropriate and maintaining the workshop in a clean and tidy state Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position or have transferable skills Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle/Plant/Diesel Mechanic) Must Hold a valid current Driver's License Great Communication Skills Physically fit Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
