Behaviour Mentor - Up to £120 per day! Location: Surrey (Staines, Sunbury, Walton, Ashford, Camberley) Pay: £95-£120 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP or September 2025 Contract: Full-time, Term-time only We are working in partnership with a range of primary, secondary and alternative provision schools across Surrey, supporting them to recruit dedicated Behaviour Mentors who can help students overcome barriers to learning and thrive both personally and academically. The Role of a Behaviour Mentor: Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to pupils with behavioural or emotional needs Build trusted relationships with students, promoting emotional wellbeing and engagement De-escalate challenging situations using trauma-informed and restorative strategies Support teachers by modelling effective behaviour interventions Act as a positive role model and consistent support figure within the school community Ideal Background of a Behaviour Mentor: We welcome applicants from a variety of relevant fields, including: Youth work / Outreach support SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) roles Behavioural or Pastoral Support Assistants Psychology, counselling, or coaching backgrounds What You'll Need as a Behaviour Mentor: Experience working with young people in a mentoring, youth work, or support capacity Strong behaviour management and conflict-resolution skills A calm, empathetic and confident approach to challenging behaviour A genuine desire to help students develop resilience and emotional regulation An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one through us) Why Join ANZUK?
