About the Role We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone with a background in project coordination, account support, or junior account management who is eager to grow into a more strategic and client-facing position. As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering standout activations across premiums, merchandise, and gifting—primarily within Alcohol and FMCG sectors. You’ll work closely with our client, a leader in their industry, and their agency partners, managing projects from concept through to delivery. This is a hands-on role that blends project management, client service, and supplier coordination. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and have the opportunity to build your expertise in premium merchandise, strategic sourcing, and stakeholder engagement. This role is based in Australia, with a hybrid working model split between our Melbourne office and remote work. What you’ll do Project & Client Management: Manage end-to-end promotional merchandise projects—from brief to delivery—ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Act as a key point of contact for clients, creative agencies, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and alignment at every stage. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on track and aligned with client expectations. Ensure exceptional customer service, proactively resolving issues and maintaining strong client relationships. Strategic & Commercial Support: Support the development of client strategies that drive sales and brand impact. Assist in preparing client presentations and proposals that showcase innovation and value. Contribute to identifying new product opportunities and ways to improve existing offerings. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform client recommendations and internal planning. Demonstrate strong financial acumen by accurately managing client budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered within scope while maintaining profitability and value. Drive competitive pricing through effective supplier negotiations and detailed cost analysis, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes for both the client an Operational Excellence: Collaborate with sourcing teams to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality production. Help manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications. Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all project milestones, approvals, and changes to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to the development of streamlined workflows and best practices. What you’ll bring Experience in account coordination, project management, or junior account management—ideally with FMCG brands—experience with promotional merchandise will be advantageous. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, grow, and challenge the status quo. Familiarity with sourcing, production timelines, and vendor management is a plus. A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
