This is where you come in: We are looking for an experienced, disciplined and innovative Electrical Engineer who is looking to join a rapidly growing Company. The focus of this business-critical role is to ensure the reliability of the plant to meet the required KPI’s in a safe and cost-effective manner. This role will also establish and drive maintenance practices in accordance with the corporate procedures to ensure standardisation of site maintenance and reporting. Ensuring compliance with processes and procedures to ensure identification of business improvements and RCA practices to eliminate repeated issues is a major focus. Responsibilities include: Ensure plant and equipment breakdowns are dealt with in a prompt, safe and efficient manner Assist in establishing and maintaining an optimum level of spares Maximise line efficiencies through the establishment of an effective planned maintenance program Monitor equipment failure rate, analyse data, and drive root cause analysis & initiatives to continuously improve performance Reduce the total number of quarantine investigations through machinery faults Reduce rework generation through machinery faults Lead cross functional problem solving & root cause analysis to improve equipment efficiency Establish enhanced collaborative working culture across all shifts Assist in providing coaching to direct electrical team to ensure they are developing and have clear growth pathways for their career development The ideal candidate: MUST HAVE Experience within the FMCG industry MUST HAVE RCA Experience - 5 Whys/Fishbone Excellent communication skills, high level interpersonal skills and sound judgement Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and handle competing priorities Excellent organisation and time management skills Able to influence, manage and challenge ideas and existing business processes Experience in implementing systems and process changes Experience in managing projects Sound knowledge across the Microsoft office suite Experience in managing maintenance operations utilising computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) Comprehensive understanding of maintenance planning, including budget control Electrical trade or engineering qualifications or equivalent professional experience in the field of engineering is essential Q-Fever Vaccination required What we’re about Welcome to RPF, where we believe in keeping it Real.
