HEAD OF FINANCE (3-MONTH CONTRACT) Location: Bankstown, NSW (Full-time in-office) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Initial 3-month contract (view to extension or permanency) Sector: Aged Care Salary: Competitive daily rate About the Company My client is an established aged care provider seeking an experienced Head of Finance to support the business through a period of change. Reporting directly to the CEO the focus is on continuity, team stability, and ensuring smooth finance operations through audit and BAU. About the Role Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including external audits Oversee general ledger functions and maintain robust internal controls. Lead and support a finance team of six (including accounts receivable, payroll, and accounting staff based locally and offshore) Deliver monthly management reports for meetings with the COO and CEO Support the business through audit preparation and execution Maintain and enhance existing Excel-based reporting Coordinate with offshored accounts payable and payroll functions Ensure compliance, financial controls, and systems are maintained About You Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. CA/CPA qualified Background in aged care or not-for-profit finance leadership preferred Practical, people-focused leader with strong interpersonal skills Hands-on and operational - this is not a strategic or transformation-focused CFO role Strong Excel and reporting capability; familiarity with Epicor and Monday.com is beneficial Experience managing small finance teams and working with offshore support Available to work full-time from the Bankstown office (onsite parking provided); Why This Role?
