About the role Our St John the Baptist Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built preschool on the grounds of St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School. At our Long Day Care provides a range of activities for children aged between 3 and 5 years of age so that each child can engage in something they are interested in. We are looking for a Child Care Educator with a Diploma in Child Care that can understand the needs of a child and create a fun, warm, caring and safe environment. Location: Woy Woy NSW Classification: Part time Award level: CSA 4.1 Above award rate Retention Days: Monday and Tuesday Hours: Flexibility to work Long Day Care hours from 7am to 6pm Ideally you will be able to Have an understanding and experience with Early Years Learning Framework Assist the Director/ Teacher to plan, implement and evaluate programs Ensure a welcoming, safe, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices Helping with observations and experiences Develop positive and supportive relationships with children and families Form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues Requirements Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance Completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education Current First aid and CPR certificate Completion of CHCPRT025 ‘Identify & report children & young people at risk’ Why Join CatholicCare?
