This Mechanical Engineer -HVAC role will suit someone who thrives in a technically specialised position with autonomy, yet enjoys working as part of a collaborative project team. If you're a Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ) with experience designing, certifying, and delivering HVAC systems in large-scale residential or commercial builds - we want to hear from you. The Role Reporting to the Commercial Project Manager, you'll be responsible for design, certification, and delivery of mechanical HVAC systems, primarily in apartment buildings and other multi-storey developments. You'll collaborate with builders, consultants, and other engineers, contribute to CAD-based drafting support, and attend design meetings to ensure compliance and feasibility from concept to completion. Key responsibilities include: Designing mechanical HVAC systems for apartments and commercial developments Preparing and certifying Form 15 documentation in line with project requirements Attending and contributing to design meetings with builders, engineers, and consultants Liaising with construction teams to ensure accurate execution of designs on site Supporting CAD drafting and reviewing mechanical layouts and schematics Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with design and standards Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to meet project timelines and quality expectations Applicant Requirements We're looking for someone who is both technically competent and confident liaising with a range of stakeholders.
