Property Network of Australia is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager – Retail to support the daily operational and financial performance of a retail shopping centre. This role is offered initially on a temporary basis for an initial 3 months with a view to longer term. Working with a leading commercial real estate and investment firm, this role provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate with existing retail property administration or coordination experience to step up into a broader operational management capacity. The ideal candidate will have previous or current experience working in a support or coordinator role within a retail shopping centre or commercial property environment, ideally with exposure to tenants, contractors, and leasing teams. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Assist the Centre Manager with day-to-day operational oversight, ensuring facilities, safety, and compliance standards are maintained. Coordinate and monitor contractor performance across cleaning, security, and maintenance services. Support lease administration including managing tenant records, arrears, insurance compliance, and reporting requirements. Build and maintain professional relationships with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the asset. Help manage and coordinate marketing activations in collaboration with central teams. The ideal candidate will have: Experience in a retail or commercial property environment, ideally in an administrative or assistant role. Strong communication, problem solving, and organisational skills. Proficiency with property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain attention to detail. A valid driver’s licence and a current real estate registration or sales certificate (or willingness to obtain).
