Abbey Beach Resort 595, Bussell Highway, Busselton, WA – 6280 Full time $70,000 – $78,000 per year Abbey Beach Resort is situated 2 ½ hours south of Perth nestled on the beachfront of Geographe Bay amidst landscaped gardens and lakes and at the gateway to the famous Margaret River region. Key Responsibilities To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of guests to ensure a superb customer service experience. To build a good rapport with all guests and resolve any complaints/ issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service. To have a professional telephone manner and manage the resort switchboard, being courteous and assisting with all guest enquiries. Whenever possible to anticipate guests needs, to be aware of all written and spoken requests, to carry out these requests in a courteous and helpful manner. To assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective and courteous manner, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible. To ensure that all charges are correctly posted to the guests billing account following resort procedures. To deal with cheque and credit transactions and to ensure that any discrepancies are reported immediately. Managing and organizing the day-to-day operations of the hotel operations such as directing luggage porters, commercial housekeepers and door staff. Liaising with other Service Managers to organise activities with other units of the hotel. Creating and applying a marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services and amenities. Dealing with and resolving customer complaints and assessing feedback to continuously work on improving service. Greeting customers, and assisting in taking reservations from time to time, to offer a high level of customer service. Ensuring that the staff is kept apprised on current Health and Safety regulations and implementing regulations as necessary. Supervise Reception and Front Office work and making required suggestions and improvement for maximum efficiency. Work with staff to resolve issues and maximise Customer satisfaction.
