Employer - Macfab Engineering Position : Full Time Location : Albury NSW Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 a year Macfab Engineering supplies metal fabrications and offers site installations on mechanical projects for some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects. Macfab Engineering manufactures and installs structural, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum and sheet metal fabrications for most specialist areas of industry. Their projects are as diverse as supplying bridge components for freeways, structural steel for commercial buildings and welded metal products for railways. Macfab Engineering is currently looking for motivated, hardworking and experienced welder to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities: Review drawings and job specifications to determine work requirements. Weld/Fabricate products to a high standard. Grind, drill, deburr & fasten using hand tools. Coordinate the production task operations as per the Work Instruction, in a manner that meets the size, volume and timelines specified Perform production line assembly and welding Prepare material for welding, cutting or fabrication. Maintain records of work orders and materials used. Maintain a clean and organised work environment Minimize exposure to hazards to prevent incidents and injuries to the greatest possible extent Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications: Relevant Trade Qualification At least 2 years relevant working experience in General welding, Aluminium, Mig, Tig Ability to read and understand job sheets and drawings, reading instructions and take direction.
