About the Role: We are experiencing significant growth and are currently recruiting for a Manager in our Sydney office , focussed on IT outsourcing and technology selection . This role is ideal for an experienced consultant, IT managed service provider or IT services technical or commercial manager with a proven track record in delivering projects to transform IT operating and service delivery models in addition to business system selection and modernisation. Your Opportunity Forming part of the Sourcing and Procurement Advisory team, this role will include the following responsibilities; Engagement Management: manage and deliver quality work across the IT sourcing project lifecycle (strategy, market research, requirements development, RFP development, market engagement, RFP evaluation, contracting and negation support, transition / implementation, optimise and monitor), or act in a supporting role on complex large scale outsourcing programs. Business Development: focus on support business development efforts through proposal development, building networks and fostering internal collaboration. Leadership: Share knowledge of IT functions and services (e.g. Application Maintenance and development, Cloud compute, Cyber security, End user compute, Network infrastructure, AI and automation) operations and transformation. Growth and Development: Actively participate in the growth of the Sourcing and Procurement Advisory team, including building our client portfolio and supporting our team’s career development. Client Outcomes: Deliver quality business outcomes in complex and fluid environments, across a wide range of industries. To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include: Demonstrated experience in leading/supporting IT sourcing programs of work to establish or optimise service delivery models for IT functions or to select/modernise business systems. Previous roles in consulting or IT service provider organisations delivering to clients, or as a technical, commercial or service deliver manager in an IT function, with a strong commercial and delivery focus. Experience in IT sourcing strategy development, market research, RFP development, requirements specification, market engagement, tender evaluation, contract negotiation, transition, service delivery, transformation or sourcing contract management. High-level understanding of the Australian / Asia Pacific IT outsourcing market, service providers and trends reflecting legacy and disruptive technology changes. Experienced in data analysis and financial cost model development. Excellent leadership, teamwork and communication skills (both written and verbal). An exceptional attitude focused on achieving desired customer outcomes. Qualifications Appropriate qualifications including a degree in a related discipline. Working knowledge of industry methodologies such as ITIL, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PRINCE2 is desirable.
