About Us At Relationships Australia Queensland (RAQ), we are proud to be Queensland’s leading provider of relationship and family wellbeing services. Our purpose is to provide individuals and families with the tools and support they need to build happier, healthier lives. Through education, counselling, and community programs, we help people develop the skills and resilience to navigate life’s challenges. Our work promotes care and safety, embracing diversity to foster strong and connected communities. We are committed to expanding our expertise and leading conversations about relationships, mental health, and social connection. By joining Relationships Australia Queensland, you can be part of a dedicated team making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities. About the Role We are seeking a permanent, part-time (4 days a week), Parenting Orders Program (POP) Case Coordinator to join our Bundaberg team. Step into a pivotal role where you’ll make a real difference in the lives of families at a critical time. As a Parenting Orders Program (POP) Case Coordinator, you will empower parents and carers to build positive, healthy relationships with their children through and beyond separation. Each day offers the chance to educate, support, and inspire individuals to navigate challenges and champion child-focused outcomes. You’ll shape innovative support programs, provide expert guidance, and become a trusted advocate for the wellbeing of children—helping families create stronger, more resilient bonds for the future. This is your opportunity to grow your career while genuinely changing lives in our community. Additionally, you will: Conduct intake assessments, obtain client information, screen for risks, develop safety plans, and determine suitability for interventions. Design and deliver group and individual education programs on child development, family violence, and navigating complex family separations. Develop and implement client case management plans in a child-focused, collaborative manner. Liaise with internal and external services for integrated support, including referrals for counselling and family dispute resolution. Maintain accurate client records, case notes, and risk assessments as per organisational policy. Continuously participate in supervision, professional development, and uphold compliance with all legislative, duty of care, and administrative requirements. About You You are passionate about supporting families through separation, skilled in managing complex cases, and committed to positive outcomes for children. Your approach is collaborative, reflective, and always informed by best practice principles in family support. Additionally, you have: A relevant undergraduate qualification in Social or Behavioural Sciences. Demonstrated experience supporting families in high conflict settings, including with involuntary clients or clients in crisis. A strong record of working within a child-focused and culturally inclusive practice framework. Experience in group facilitation, education delivery, and (ideally) family dispute resolution. Solid knowledge of family law, domestic violence legislation, and the impact of trauma and conflict on children. Excellent communication, time management, and computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office, web-based systems).
