About the role As part of our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining a standard of cleaning excellence across all areas of our St Vincent’s Lismore campus. Your everyday tasks will include: Using different equipment and products to complete a wide range of internal and external cleaning tasks – floors, bathrooms, offices, fixtures, fittings and so on; High reach cleaning such as high ceilings and windows; Carpet shampooing using specialized equipment and cleaning methods to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection; Floor stripping and polishing by eliminating scratches, stains and dirt. Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing upholstered furniture like chairs and sofas to maintain hygiene and prevent the spread of germs. Environmental cleaning including both routine cleaning and more thorough disinfection. Maintaining a safe and hazard free environment; Adhering to Infection Control procedures and working to all job specifications, in line with all relevant policies and procedures.
