Our client is a growing accounting firm with offices in Brisbane and regional Southeast Queensland. To support their Brisbane-based clients, a Senior Partner is present in the Brisbane office 2–3 days per week. Due to increasing client demand, the firm is looking for a Part-time Senior Bookkeeper to join the Brisbane office. This role is well suited to someone seeking a flexible part-time position, such as a working parent or an experienced bookkeeping professional looking part-time role. The position is structured over five days per fortnight—two days one week and three the next. The successful candidate will be required to work from the Brisbane office on the same days as the Senior Partner and should be comfortable working independently when the Partner is based elsewhere. The ideal candidate will have solid bookkeeping experience, within an Australian accounting firm and be confident managing tasks with minimal supervision. Strong knowledge of Xero, MYOB, Intuit or Reckon is essential. A qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field is required and experience with SMSFs is highly regarded.
