We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Supply Chain team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Production Engineering and Contract Manufacturing Manager Description About the Role · Develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and documentation to meet production volume, quality, and cost requirements. · Apply advanced skills and knowledge of the manufacturing engineering discipline to continuously refine and improve manufacturing processes. · Support production by resolving technical issues as required. · Investigate and resolve quality issues. · Provide constructive technical feedback and recommendations to NPI cross-functional teams. · Ensure compliance with in-house and external standards and promote changes to support ongoing compliance. · Introduce and maintain production procedures and related QMS processes as required. · Collaborate with Production Engineering to develop specifications for new process equipment to support NPI projects. · Provide training to relevant team members on new equipment, processes, and procedures. · Define and carry out process validation/verification activities and documentation. · Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to product CoGs and manufacturing processes. · Develop and validate manufacturing processes to support contract manufacturing. About You · 5 years of practical industry experience in Manufacturing Engineering environment · Proven experience in manufacturing engineering and process development. · Proven experience in utilising Lean manufacturing principles. · Experience in developing and documenting manufacturing processes. · Continuous Improvement project experience. · Experience in electronic / assembly processes.
