The South Australian Harness Racing Club Inc is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of a member based community Club in the growing northern suburbs. This iconic venue hosts over ninety harness racing meetings per annum and feature's function rooms, a bistro, a gaming lounge, and bar. You will oversee all aspects of the Club’s hospitality operations, reporting directly to the CEO and playing a pivotal role in its continued growth and success. Key Responsibilities · Lead the day-to-day venue operations of a Club including bistro, gaming, functions, and bar areas · Provide strong leadership and direction to all departments and staff · Drive a positive team culture focused on service excellence and accountability · Oversee recruitment of venue staff, training, rostering, performance management · Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, licensing, RSA and RSG standards · Manage budgets, financial reporting, and business performance indicators · Work collaboratively with the CEO on strategic planning and reporting Skills and Experience · Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar senior leadership or Manager role in a Club or hospitality venue · Proven leadership ability in a dynamic environment · HR experience and ability to build and manage teams · Strong understanding of gaming, and hospitality service delivery · Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing budgets and KPIs · RSA and RSG certifications (mandatory) What’s on Offer · Competitive salary package · Performance-based bonus incentive scheme · Professional work environment · Opportunity for long-term growth and career development Unlock job insights Salary match Number of applicants Skills match Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
