We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded and long-established commercial real estate agency with a strong presence in Melbourne’s property market. Known for their professionalism, integrity, and long-term client relationships, they manage a diverse portfolio of commercial, retail, and mixed-use assets. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to take ownership of a well-maintained portfolio , backed by an experienced team and supportive leadership. Key Responsibilities End-to-end management of a clean, established portfolio of commercial and retail properties Lease administration, including renewals, options, rent reviews, and market assessments Arrears management and tenant negotiations Overseeing maintenance coordination and contractor engagement Preparation of budgets, financial reporting, and outgoings reconciliations Liaising with landlords, tenants, and internal stakeholders Ensuring compliance with the Retail Leases Act and other relevant legislation Working closely with the Directors and wider property team to uphold service standards About You Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial property management (retail/industrial/mixed-use exposure ideal) Sound understanding of lease structures, VCAT process, and relevant tenancy legislation Strong written and verbal communication skills for dealing with professional clients Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving abilities Proficient with property management software ( VIC Agent’s Representative Certificate, current driver’s licence, and reliable vehicle Professional, proactive, and confident in managing portfolios with autonomy What’s On Offer Well-established, loyal portfolio with minimal handover issues Collaborative and experienced property team with strong leadership support Longstanding client base and professional network No weekend work – Monday to Friday only Competitive salary based on experience and capability A secure, stable environment with scope for progression We encourage you to apply if you want to progress your career in a business that values quality over quantity and offers strong operational support.
