They have been in operation since 1997 and have offered a broad range of government-funded support programs and fee-for-service programs to school-based young people. The position forms part of the delivery of Work Placement Support, which supports students in secondary education within the service footprint to complete their mandatory industry placement hours through negotiated placements with local employers. You will work as a team across clusters of schools as the link between student placement needs and industry offered placements. Responsibilities: Recruitment and retention of host employers to meet the agreed and identified needs of industry placements Communication and support to teachers and/or nominated school staff in the process of registering, assigning, monitoring and evaluating work placements Conduct Work Readiness support to partnered schools Work in harmony with the lead contractors, Independent Schools and other key stakeholders Develop and deliver appropriate marketing and promotional content in alignment with the contracted funding guidelines Identify and support student placement based on identified participation needs Maintain regular communication with all relevant stakeholders, including the supported schools, TAFE, parents, and other services (as required) Maintain students' records by reviewing case notes, logging events and progress. Adherence to the State and Federal Child Protection and privacy requirements Coordinate and deliver events to showcase and appreciation events for stakeholders Evaluate programs and related activities through various channels such as surveys, feedback forms, etc. Establish connections with local industry networks to promote participation in the program and to establish referral links Negotiate funded and unfunded partnerships Communicate students' progress through newsletters, direct emails, meetings, and evaluations Meet budget by monitoring expenses, implementing cost-saving actions Participate in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
