The Bar Attendant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to all guests. This role involves supervising bar staff, maintaining quality standards, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations. Package: $74,000 Salary Discounted Accommodation & Meals Key Responsibilities: Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate bar attendants to provide excellent customer service. Create and manage staff rosters in coordination with management. Hands on work behind the bar offering excellence in customer service Assist with stock ordering and stock rotation Monitor staff performance and provide coaching when necessary. Ensure staff adhere to RSA service standards and operational policies. Customer Service: Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the bar area. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively. Ensure customers receive prompt service and high-quality beverages. Bar Operations: Oversee bar opening and closing procedures. Monitor cleanliness and presentation of the bar area. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order. Maintain stock levels and coordinate with suppliers when necessary. Financial Management: Perform cash handling duties including reconciliation of tills and end-of-day reports. Assist in achieving sales targets and minimising wastage Monitor pricing and promotions in collaboration with management. Compliance and Safety: Enforce responsible service of alcohol (RSA) at all times. Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety, and hygiene standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits as required. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar supervisory or team leader role in a bar or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally. High level of organisation and attention to detail. Candidate Requirements: Minimum 12 month commitment required Current RSA certificate First Aid certification (preferred but not essential).
