Responsibilities Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario. Identifies dependencies and develops design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms. Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI. Leverages subject-matter expertise of product features and collaborates with stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive project and release plans. Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guides other engineers, develops and follows the playbook, monitors systems for issues, alerts stakeholders, and initiates corrective actions. Proactively learns new trends, technical solutions, and patterns to enhance product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance, while ensuring consistency in monitoring and operations at scale. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 5 years of engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Proven high-quality software development experience. Experience with large-scale orchestration frameworks. Extensive backend application development experience. Preferred Qualifications: 6-8 years of engineering experience with coding in relevant languages. Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6 years of experience, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Proficient in written and verbal communication. Familiarity with DevOps concepts such as continuous deployment, deployment automation, and telemetry frameworks.
