Our Kids Team are currently looking for a part time Campus Children’s Oversight to join the team at our Greater West Sydney location for 12 months as a Maternity Cover position. This role will be responsible for ensuring the team health, growth and an increase in weekend attendance as well as ensuring systems and structures are in place so that the vision of Hillsong Church is outworked effectively at the Campus. Other aspects of this role include: Health & Weekend Attendance Responsible for seeing growth in the attendance of kid’s programs. Provide programs in all weekend services that are of an excellent standard. Increase health in all areas of Hillsong Kids ministry as evidenced by growth in KDG’s; numbers of leaders; weekly attendance; the number of pastoral follow-up calls made and the connection of new families into Hillsong Kids. Program Development Work with kids leaders and kids creative to provide programs across all age groups that are of an excellent standard. Identify improvements required in the systems used for weekend services including safety and protection, program excellence and communication to and from leaders. Systems Development Oversee the systems and structures across Hillsong Kids at your campus to ensure leaders have a clear pathway to enter leadership as well as grow and develop. Setup leadership structure across your campus to ensure each service has an oversight that runs the leadership, pastoral and program aspects of a service. Safe Church Ensure all programs and events under your leadership comply with all Safe Church policies and procedures. Ensure HSK is a safe place for children through leaders’ inductions, monitoring of leaders, training and awareness, physical environments. Ideally, the successful candidate will bring: Experience in leading, caring for and pastoring people is essential. Tertiary qualification in Theology or Christian Ministry is desirable. Current Working with Children government clearance essential. A focus towards healthy and thorough people development. Working knowledge of Hillsong Safe Church and WWCC procedures.
