The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Company Secretary (or highly capable Company Secretary) to join our high-performing team in either Sydney or Melbourne . This role will suit an experienced governance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with clients and Boards, and is passionate about contributing to best-practice governance. Key Responsibilities Provide practical, technically accurate advice on the Corporations Act , ASX Listing Rules , market practice, and corporate governance matters Attend Board and Committee meetings and prepare high-quality minutes Draft meeting notices and manage member meetings, including annual reporting obligations Lead or contribute to corporate actions and related project management Build strong relationships with client Boards and management teams to deliver governance outcomes Where relevant, provide mentoring and leadership within the MUFG Corporate Governance team Manage multiple client relationships and deliver high-quality services consistently About You You will bring: Demonstrated experience in a company secretarial, legal or finance role within an ASX-listed environment or top-tier law firm Strong technical knowledge of the ASX Listing Rules, with particular expertise in continuous disclosure and corporate governance frameworks Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines Confidence interacting with senior stakeholders, including Directors and Executives A collaborative mindset and a drive to deliver exceptional client outcomes A proactive and solutions-focused approach The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team What’s it like to work here?
