Join a research group pioneering the field of lung function imaging in radiotherapy Located at South Eveleigh Biomedical building in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney Four-year part time (0.4 FTE) fixed term contract, with a base salary of $99,455 - $118,267](pro rata) p.a. and 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Image X Institute is a centre for innovation in radiation therapy and medical imaging technologies. Our research portfolio spans development of new treatment ideas, clinical trials, preclinical imaging, device development, MRI-Physics, radiation therapy physics, and computational physics. We engage with industry, hospitals, international collaborators and universities to forge relationships that help take our projects from lab bench to patient bedside. Here, you will have the opportunity to participate in a wide ranging and multi-disciplinary research program. We are seeking a Clinical Trial Coordinator (HEO 6 or 7) to join the Image X Institute , part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The successful applicant will primarily work on a trial which aims to reduce radiation toxicity for lung cancer patients and increase their eligibility for life-saving immunotherapy. This project is part of our globally leading CT-ventilation imaging research which includes industry, collaborative group and hospital collaboration. You will be based at South Eveleigh (formerly the Australian Technology Park). Your key responsibilities will be to: Coordinate all aspects of assigned clinical trials from protocol development to site close-out including site management, data management and central monitoring Maintain accurate documentation and manage trial databases Liaise with investigators, ethics committees, collaborative group representatives, project team members, researchers and internal stakeholders Schedule and participate in TMC meetings for assigned trials Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and trial protocols About you: Experience in the coordination of clinical trials, including site management, data management and monitoring Bachelor's Degree - In a relevant field or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience understanding of GCP guidelines, ethics requirements and the regulations surrounding research practices Administration experience Working knowledge of REDCap or similar EDC platforms Time management skills to enable you to work on multiple trials with competing priorities.
