Description: SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory services in Australia . If the successful candidate is CONUS located, relocation to the customer site may be approximately 4 months after completing Government Customer requirements. Relocation assistance is provided as well as housing stipend, cost of living, and other allowances for the duration of the tour. The successful candidate will: Provide technical leadership for the integration of mission systems Oversee system engineering and technical execution of projects that cover hardware/software system development, test and final integration on customer platforms Conduct technical reviews and assessments of program development and readiness activities. Coordinates recommendations with government stakeholders and supports program status reviews Identify and communicate system engineering risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependencies Assist the government plan transition activities Develop and oversee test plans and methodologies to ensure confidence in meeting operational needs Develop assessments and recommendations, present to a variety of audiences Effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with engineers from various contractors and government organizations SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline. Required Qualifications\: Education and Experience\: Bachelor’s degree in STEM field and nine (9) or more years technical experience; Masters in STEM field and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. STEM degree is a contract requirement Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current Poly Demonstrated success performing project management and systems engineering tasks Knowledge of SIGINT space and ground architecture including mission control and/or mission processing functions Program lifecycle experience from concept development and design to deployment, operations and maintenance, decommission and familiar with related control gates and associated documentation Experience with CONOPS and requirements development, systems analysis, interface control documentation, technical specification review, integration and testing; validation and verification Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics Impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment, polished communicator (written/verbal) Master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders consensus builder Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Outlook, MS Project Desired Qualifications\: Familiar with: Knowledge of satellite constellations, spacecraft orbit, tasking process, and ground station characteristics Knowledge of SIGINT TCPED process US Space Force Command space operations structure MBSE/Digital Engineering, AGILE development, cloud technologies
