North Shore and Bondi Junction Hand Therapy is an allied health practice treating chronic and acute hand and upper limb injuries. We are looking for an enthusiastic Operations Manager to work alongside our Reception team permanently for 3 days per week across both sites. In total 24 hours work per week. Prior medical experience would be great, as would experience working with Xero Accounting software. Not to mention understanding the importance of patient care! This role requires a big smile and a can-do attitude as you will be required to work across the team where needed. Primarily, you will oversee back office functions, including scheduling staff rosters, managing payroll and reconciliation via Xero, and ensuring the smooth operation of the business across all three locations. You will be assisted by the Practice Manager and the Receptionist team, and there is no job too big or too small. Roles and Responsibilities Assisting Practice Owner/ Practice Manager with the co-ordination of staff rosters, including rescheduling as required due to annual/personal leave Managing the Xero Accounting software, mainly Payroll and Reconciliation To monitor and follow up accounts receivable, report debt levels to Practice Owner/Senior Practice Manager on regular basis as required Maintain patient confidentiality is of the utmost importance in this role Displaying empathy and understanding as you assist in processing simple patient and health professional requests as required Be willing to step into the Medical Reception role where required Liaising as required with the team of surgeons.
