The Role: Our Gatton transport depot is looking for experience Local & Linehaul Driver's. Linehaul Drivers Linehaul drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods between major locations. This role requires a high level of skill, experience, and the ability to operate a commercial heavy vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) over 4.5 tonnes. We have both casual and permanent positions available for the following newly created runs: Gatton – Sydney Gatton – Cootamundra & Dubbo Gatton – Goondiwindi Changeover MC Licence required Local Drivers Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods, including loading, unloading, and securing freight. We have full-time and casual positions available: Casual day and night shifts Full-time dayshift HC Licence minimum required Duties you can expect with this role include: Working with temperature sensitive freight Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork Interacting with clients in a professional manner Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight. Operating prime movers in the configuration of B-doubles Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklists About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems. Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential) Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills.
