We’re looking for a Measure & Quote Team Leader to support the team, whilst also playing a hands-on role in delivering exceptional service. In this position, you’ll guide day-to-day operations, support and develop team members, and lead by example - meeting customers where they are, whether in the showroom, in their homes, or on-site. This role is perfect for someone with a background in flooring or construction who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment. You'll enjoy a balance of leadership, collaboration, and customer interaction, driving performance while helping shape the success within the business. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead and manage the Measure & Quote team to ensure high performance, accountability and customer satisfaction Provide onboarding, coaching and on-going training to Measure & Quote Specialists to ensure consistency in service delivery and adherence to process standards Provide support where necessary to help the team close sales and take deposits, including coaching on sales techniques and customer engagement Monitor team workload, scheduling and performance metrics to ensure timely and accurate service delivery Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews and development planning for team members Assist the team, as required, to complete their duties per National Tiles’ policies and procedures Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, product offerings, and installation methods Collaborate with store sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience and accurate order processing Book in measure and quotes from qualified leads Conduct in-home or on-site measurements for installation projects Advise customers on product suitability, installation requirements and recommended upgrades to ensure best fit for purpose Provide accurate and detailed quotes with clear breakdowns, ensuring transparency and clarity for customers Support the sales process as needed, including helping to close the sale and take deposits Maintain accurate records of measurements, quotes, and customer interactions Facilitate smooth handover of customer to Installation Support / Customer Support Specialists Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any further enquiries, either from the customer, Installation Support or the store, professionally and promptly. Contact customers post installation to complete sign-off or immediately book in QC visit if issues are raised About You The ideal candidate will have experience in the flooring or construction industry, with a strong understanding of installation, sales, or quoting—whether in a retail showroom or as part of on-the-road measure and quoting. You’ll combine technical expertise with a customer-centric approach, consistently delivering excellent results. Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, or supervising a small team in a customer-facing or construction environment Confidence in measuring and interpreting floor plans and site drawings A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with customers Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical skills for precise measurements and calculations Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and offer practical solutions A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Proficiency with measurement tools and quoting software Tech-savvy, with experience using productivity tools Why Join Us?
