We’re on the lookout for a talented Firmware (Embedded Software) Development Engineer to join our Sydney Dynalite R&D Team, a part of our global Signify Intelligent Building R&D Team, which specializes in creating leading-edge Connected Building & Lighting Control solutions for residential, office, retail, hospitality, industry, sport and public indoor and outdoor space applications world-wide… What you’ll do As a part of our Global Systems Engineering Team located in Sydney, in your day-to-day work you will be responsible for: • Developing, testing and releasing embedded code for our innovative Connected IoT Lighting propositions and products, which are manufactured and deployed locally and globally on many iconic projects and landmark buildings. • Brainstorming with the Team of passionate professionals locally and globally our next breakthrough innovation in Connected IoT Lighting, turning customer needs into solutions and shaping the Design and Architecture of our Systems, to bring Human-Centric Lighting Solutions and Value Beyond Illumination to our Customers and Business Partners. What you’ll need We are looking for a recent Engineering Graduate in Computer Science, Software or Electronics Engineering, with the ability to work in a global SAFe Agile team. Skills and knowledge requirements: Hands-on “C” programming of ARM-based Embedded Systems with sound debugging and problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to “peer reviews” Good understanding of Embedded HW and interfaces. HW design experience would be an advantage. Hands-on experience with JTAG, Oscilloscope & Logic Analysers.
