Excellent culture, dynamic and highly skilled team The Role Our Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products and forms part of the juice portfolio – operating five days a week, 24 hours a day. The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper. Bega Group is seeking a Safety Advisor to join our flagship site in Smithfield, with additional support to Wetherill Park. In this role, you’ll help shape a strong safety culture by providing expert guidance, coaching, and support across all levels of the business. You’ll play a key role in driving safe practices, ensuring compliance, and fostering continuous improvement—both strategically and on the ground. Responsibilities Partner with team members and leaders to foster a proactive, inclusive safety culture Guide and coach others to identify and manage safety risks with confidence and care Analyse safety data to uncover insights and opportunities for improvement Support the development and maintenance of risk assessments and critical control registers Contribute to safety reporting and help drive continuous improvement initiatives About you A Diploma or Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent experience) A practical understanding of Australian WHS legislation and systems Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across diverse teams A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for mentoring and supporting others Excellent time management and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
