Are you ready to do what you love? We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our vibrant team at Howard Smith Wharves and help us keep our iconic precinct sparkling. Nestled beneath Brisbane’s Story Bridge, Howard Smith Wharves is one of the city’s most dynamic destinations—home to 13 restaurants, cafes, bars, event spaces and a hotel. From morning strolls to late-night celebrations, we bring people together with world-class food, hospitality, and culture. With the award-winning Felons Brewery at our heart, our passion for exceptional service extends beyond the plate, we pride ourselves on creating clean, welcoming environments that make every experience unforgettable. You’ll work closely with our Facilities team to ensure our venues and common areas are maintained to the highest standard. This role offers hours across 5 days a week (4 weekdays from 6am-2:30pm, and Saturdays from 5:30am-2pm). Key responsibilities include: Supervise a team of cleaners across different areas of the site Actively participate in daily cleaning duties Train and support new staff to meet company standards and site requirements Monitor and maintain cleaning standards, conduct spot checks and audits Coordinate staff area assignments Ensure correct and safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals Liaise with site management and report any maintenance or operational issues What we’re looking for: Proven experience in commercial or hospitality cleaning, with previous supervisory or team-leading experience Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical safety, and WHS compliance Ability to train, supervise, and motivate a cleaning team effectively Excellent time management and organisational skills Proficiency in completing checklists, maintaining cleaning records, and reporting maintenance or safety issues Why you’ll love working for us?
