The primary responsibility will be managing the Finance Operations related to Accounts Payable across the main company and multiple production projects, often involving multi-currency transactions. This role requires strong organisational skills, a detail oriented approach, and proficiency with accounting software, with an emphasis on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365. As a Sydney based role, it involves frequent interactions and close collaboration with the finance team and cross functional stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations. About the role: Manage Accounts Payable for the main company and multiple production entities, including processing multi currency transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining close communication with the finance team based in Sydney. Raise and match Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring proper approval workflows and accurate General Ledger (GL) coding, coordinating regularly with other team members. Perform invoice scanning and processing using Axtension or equivalent document management systems, maintaining timely and effective processes. Process software prepayments and manage relevant accounting entries with adherence to company procedures. Perform high-volume data entry tasks, while keeping the team informed of any discrepancies or issues. Receipt Accounts Receivable (AR) payments and monitor aged debtor reports to support cash flow management, collaborating closely with the finance and production teams. Conduct bank reconciliations for all local accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely completion through regular updates and communication with senior finance personnel. Prepare daily cash reporting and forecasting to aid financial planning, sharing insights and forecasts during team meetings. Upload and submit bank files for review and approval by senior finance staff, maintaining open communication channels for queries and approvals. Process travel and expense reimbursements in compliance with company policies, liaising directly with employees and management as needed. Undertake ad-hoc duties and projects as required to support the finance team, contributing actively to team discussions and initiatives. About you: Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or production finance environment. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is highly preferred; strong knowledge of system functionalities related to Accounts Payable and financial reporting is a key advantage. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Proven ability to handle high-volume data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders in a Sydney office environment. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity. Ability and willingness to work on-site in Sydney to enable regular face-to-face collaboration and engagement with the finance team and broader company staff. What do we do?
