About the Role The Power Platform Specialist plays a pivotal role in the realisation of business value from the Microsoft 365 core productivity suite, cloud services, AI and productivity tools and business and enterprise tools like the Microsoft Power Platform. Partnering with stakeholders to drive stability, operational excellence, and innovation, the role has a wide scope of responsibilities; from the provision of level 1/2 support as required; working with operational and risk teams in ensuring compliance and security processes are in place, through to running requirements gathering exercises, designing and building innovative solutions, and supporting user adoption. Proactively consult with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for utilising Microsoft 365 applications (Power Apps, MS Dynamics, Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Forms, Bookings, Lists, and approved add-ons) to innovate and transform business processes. Design, deliver, test, maintain, and support prioritised solutions aligned with the WMO digital strategy and organisational transformation road map. Support the adoption of modern workplace tools by providing regular training and development on Microsoft 365 capabilities to end-users, both in-person and online. Collaborate with and assist in up-skilling service desk and ICT support team members to ensure effective incident resolution and service request management within established service level targets. Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency, transitioning routine requests to Level 1/2 support through documented, repeatable processes. Facilitate, create, maintain, and review the M365 knowledge base for end-users to enhance support and information access. Develop and implement governance frameworks for Microsoft groups and assets, monitor SharePoint site usage and manage collection quota settings to ensure operational health. Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues, provide fault diagnosis, maintain currency on releases, and work with stakeholders to address functionality improvements, while adhering to security practices in collaboration with the digital risk and security team. About You Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or IT. Recent experience administering Microsoft 365 environments Minimum 3 years practical, recent experience in successfully designing and engineering Microsoft 365 solutions using latest applications such as Power Apps, Power Automate, MS Dynamics, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, MS Teams and similar. Demonstrated skills and experience running workshops and presenting to audiences at all levels - understanding both technical and non-technical requirements provided by business users and IT. Experience in, or exposure to, a large organisation with complex structures and systems preferably in an Information Systems environment. Commitment to process improvement and application of innovation High level attention to detail, and strong problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Experience with support and design of solutions utilising APIs.
