About the Role Join ALS as the Technical Manager – Asia Pacific and lead cutting-edge environmental testing across the dynamic APAC region! Based in Australia, this pivotal role reporting to the General Manager of Life Sciences, APAC, offers the chance to shape the future of environmental science by driving innovation, embracing new technologies, and delivering best-practice methodologies across Water and Hydrographics Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and beyond. As a technical expert, you'll partner with global peers to represent the ALS brand, drive innovative R&D and quality initiatives to address emerging market needs, and foster continuous improvement alongside diverse APAC teams in a role that blends technical expertise with regional leadership. What we’re looking for: A tertiary science qualification (e.g., B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Chemistry or Microbiology. Genuine technical abilities and demonstrated experience. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills. Excellent organizational abilities to deliver projects on time. A commitment to integrity and continuous improvement.
