Gold Coast site based Major TMR Infrastructure project Leading Mid-tier Civil Contractor with a strong presence in the industry This favorable civil contractor is a leading contractor who work within resources, local authorities and main roads projects across Queensland. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry, this contractors focus is predominantly on roads and bridges and have delivered a number of other successful projects both locally and across the state. The project consists of major roadworks and structures for TMR on one of the largest local South-East Queensland job valued at $900M in the Gold Coast. As PUP Project Engineer you will help deliver this landmark project with construction delivery of contestable PUP, including protection work and relocation work of various assets. To be successful you must have a minimum of 4 years civil construction experience, ideally across main roads projects for a contractor in similar conditions. Reporting to the PUP Manager your responsibilities will include: Programming and planning, managing daily site coordination & overseeing dry PUP (Public Utility Plant) construction Subcontract management skills – dealing with different network authorities Interfacing with various stakeholders including TMR, Council, and subcontractors Progress claims & variations Reporting on a weekly & monthly basis Managing junior engineers Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met The successful individual must have previous PUP (Public Utility Plant), or similar utilities (water, gas, network) relocation experience across roads. You will have 4 years main roads / TMR or similar experience and have relevant Civil Engineering tertiary qualifications.
