The Role Bielby’s sustained and ongoing growth as a business has presented a great opportunity for a Construction Manager to join us on a large scale regional main roads project. You will oversee the delivery of the substructure for a precast segmental cantilever bridge, including the temporary jetty used to construct the superstructure. This is a highly technical and intricate role playing a key part of a flagship project. Based on-site, you will lead all activities related to the substructure and critical marine works, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and engineering precision, whilst coordinating with other scope. About You Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or a related field is essential 5-10 years' experience in construction management or senior project engineering role with similar proven related experience Demonstrated management skills and the ability to work effectively with others to achieve project goals. Control project financials by managing budgets and providing accurate profit/loss forecasts, working closely with senior management. Competent in planning and organising work schedules and a proven ability to manage multiple interfaces and contending demands. Extensive working knowledge of HSE requirements and their practical implementation on site. Strong methodical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
