About the Role: In the newly created role of Merchandise Coordinator you will support our growth journey as we expand out retail store footprint, and launch new exciting product lines. The Merchandise Coordinator ensures our stores are always stocked and ready, with a smooth inventory experience across all channels. From keeping stock precise, to making smart, data-driven decisions, you will play a key role in keeping our retail supply chain efficient and dependable. You will manage allocation tools and lead timely replenishment processes aligned to sales performance and business priorities. With a strong eye for detail, you'll take ownership of product data across our core systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. You will analyse sales performance, share meaningful insights, and uncover opportunities to support business growth. You are a true team player, collaborating with all departments in the business, in particular Retail, Warehouse, Ecommerce, and Production. About the Team: The Merchandise Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Merchandise Manager and works closely with the broader Sheet Society team. Key Responsibilities: Stock Allocation & Replenishment Oversee stock distribution to stores, ensuring timing and volume align with planned activity, sales trends, store size, and stock requirements. Proactively manage replenishment, balancing inventory levels to avoid both overstock and out-of-stocks. Analyse sales performance, stock movement, and allocation effectiveness to support decision-making and identify business opportunities. Review Click and Collect, as well as Warehouse fulfilled orders, for enhanced store ranging opportunities. Coordinate the allocation of VM samples and swatches. Manage product range and option plans in store, in conjunction with VM and Retail teams. Coordinate the retail stock recalls process. Detailed inventory planning for new stores as they are rolled out, according to store size, store type, store location, and other critical factors. Ongoing communication with the retail and warehouse teams to support process alignment. Allocation Systems & Tools Operate and maintain allocation and planning tools, ensuring data accuracy and system health. Troubleshoot reporting issues and identify system improvements. Inventory Management & Pricing Manage SKU data maintenance ensuring each SKU is updated with the latest information. Manage SKU's for wholesale and marketplace ranging. Regularly conduct competitor pricing reviews, providing insights and recommendations in comparison to our exisiting pricing structure. Conduct international pricing reviews on an ongoing basis to ensure FX movements and shipping costs are considered within exisiting pricing structures. Manage inventory for swatches and consumables. Inventory Integrity & Receipting Process inbound stock into relevant systems, ensuring timely and accurate stock availability. Monitor system stock levels and work closely with the Retail and Warehouse teams to investigate and correct any variances. Merchandise Planning Support Provide data and insights for retail planning, range planning, forecasting, and reorder strategies. Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives, aligning allocation and inventory processes with broader business goals. Partner with the Ecommerce team to effectively manage pre-order sales opportunities. It's the nature of Sheet Society to grow and evolve, and as such your role may evolve too. About You: You're proficient in Microsoft Excel - comfortable using formulas (including vlookup and sumifs) pivot tables, filters, etc. Your work is defined by excellent attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy. You have prior experience working with retail operations, stock planning, or supply chain environments. You excel at time management and staying organised, demonstrating the ability to prioritise effectively. You bring a solutions-focused mindset, thinking creatively and adapting quickly when plans need to shift. You communicate with confidence and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
