About the RoleThe Head of Diploma of Musical Theatre (DMT) and Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance (DSSP) is responsible for leading the strategic delivery and continuous improvement of NIDA’s VET performance courses. This includes reviewing and implementing training and assessment strategies, subject handbooks, timetables, and compliance documentation in alignment with ASQA and NIDA standards. The role involves collaboration with trainers, industry professionals, and students to ensure high-quality course delivery, as well as contributing to the development of new training products. The position requires a strong commitment to educational excellence, regulatory compliance, and NIDA’s values of equity, diversity, and best practice in vocational training. About YouYou are a qualified and passionate educator with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116), or a higher-level qualification in adult education. You bring a strong understanding of vocational training, competency-based learning, and assessment practices, paired with hands-on experience in Musical Theatre and Stage and Screen Performance. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are exceptional, and you're adept at managing complex projects with precision and clarity. You thrive in collaborative environments, working confidently across diverse teams and stakeholders. You are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, and you're actively engaged in practices that promote equity and inclusion. This is a full time fixed term contract until December 2025.The base annual salary is $100,924 11.5% Superannuation, based on a 38-hour working week.
