With a base in Melbourne, they are looking for a passionate senior engineer to join their relaxed & fun culture, with expertise to help deliver over 5GW of project pipeline work. The Role: Senior Power Systems Engineer – Grid ConnectionLocation: Melbourne, Victoria (remote working from other states is considered) Key Responsibilities:Manage connections at all stages of the project lifecycle, from feasibility assessment, connection application, through to connection agreement and into R1, commissioning, R2 and ongoing compliance monitoring.End-to-end delivery of renewable energy assets, from in-house modelling activities, to managing external contractors.Help deliver projects in both Australia and the UK Your background?You’ll be an experienced engineer, with a thirst for delivering utility scale grid connections. Whether you’re from a consultancy, developer, OEM or Utility background, you’ll have demonstrated experience working with AEMO, NER compliance and delivering power systems simulation (PSS/E, PSCAD and PowerFactory). You’ll be fluent in the art of negotiation, especially with AEMO and NSP’s, and you may even have experience delivering commission testing and running Python scripts for automation purposes.
