Day Shift: 06:00 – 14:00 Non-Active Sleepover Shift: 14:00 – 06:00 (next day) Flexible availability is essential across a 24/7 roster. You must be available Fridays (day and sleepover shift) weekends and a bonus if available other days of the week as well for short notice replacements on our casual pool Our Matching Process We take client compatibility seriously. Interviews will be held as shortlisted applications are received Observation/Meet & Greet Session – 30-60 minutes [unpaid] with the client to assess comfort and compatibility. Debrief – Discuss with Team Leader to reflect and decide on suitability to the role. Employment – If successful, a casual or contractor contract offer will be extended. Onboarding Finalisation – All onboarding requirements are self-paced online and all requirements must be met prior to rostering occurring. Applicants must have demonstrated experience in: Supporting a full-time power wheelchair user, including safe operation and mobility assistance Performing 1-person assist for all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): toileting, showering, dressing, grooming, and continence support Confident and competent use of hoist, especially Pivot Hoist, following detailed manual handling plan Feeding and meal preparation, including cooking for modified dysphagia diets Administering medication and adhering to individual support plans Completing professional, factual shift notes, and reports Performing household tasks: cleaning, laundry, ironing, and preparing fresh, wholesome meals Implementing behaviour support strategies to promote emotional and mental well-being Supporting community inclusion and social engagement Understanding or willingness to learn person-centered active support Demonstrating initiative, common sense, and a proactive approach to learning Essential Requirements NDIS Worker Screening Check First Aid Certificate & CPR – current within 12 months Valid Driver’s License Medication Management Training – current within 12 months Manual Handling Training – current within 24 months Infection Prevention & Control – current within 12 months Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent (will consider applicants with no formal training qualification) Enrolled Nurses encouraged to apply Minimum 1 years’ experience (especially with hoist/manual handling) preferred Completion of all 4 NDIS Commission eLearning Modules Non-smoker (due to client’s sensory needs) MUST be available FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS & MONDAYS both day shift and sleepover shift MUST be available between 15th December 2025 - 11th january 2026 with flexible open availability to include all Public Holidays, Xmas eve, xmas day, boxing day, new years eve and new years day. All staff will either be rostered on shift, or rostered to be on paid On CALL during these 4 weeks.
