Focus of the Role As a Warehouse Storeperson within the Field Services Equipment Staging team, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately handling the inbounding, capturing of details, storing, and shipping of equipment in our Kemps Creek warehouse. Your role will involve participating in all aspects of warehouse operations, including picking, packing, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will collaborate with multiple internal teams and work with a wide variety of telecommunications equipment to meet crucial deadlines and customer requirements. About the role This role is for a 24-month fixed-term contract You will join a team of technicians working on multiple projects and assisting them when needed to meet Service Level Agreements. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, capture and verify incoming shipmentsStore and organize equipment accuratelyPick, pack, and prepare orders for shipmentCreating consignments as per customer requirementsAssist with inventory management and auditingOperate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacksMaintain a clean and organized workplaceFollow all safety procedures and regulations in line with TelstraAssist with other duties as assignedStock handling and rotationBasic computer literacy (excel etc.) Qualifications Ability to work onsite in Kemps Creek.Possess a high-level customer service skill, with good negotiation, facilitation skills and a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly organised, possessing strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise to ensure delivery of critically important tasks in a timely manner.Proven ability to work autonomously and to work under tight timeframes and deadlines to deliver required outcomes.Ability to lift 15 kgsAbility to stand for extended period.Ability to gain a National Defence Clearance.High Risk Work Licence - On-Pavement ForkliftBasic warehouse experienceAbility to conduct medical/police check If this opportunity sounds like a perfect fit for you, we'd encourage you to apply!
