Structural Steel Operations Administrator Location: Somersby – NSW Central Coast About us Crossmuller is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined company within the Borg Group of companies. As a result of our ongoing growth and success, Crossmuller is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Operations Administrator with manufacturing and construction experience to join our Team based at Somersby NSW. Key responsibilities will include: Assist with the co-ordination of projects. Compile weekly daily and weekly reports. Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines. Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and lead times. Forward order materials ahead of project commencement. Monitor quality and quantities of incoming material Work collaboratively with cross- functional internal departments to ensure material requirements are met. Track variations. Preparation of tender documentation, quoting and overall document control for allocated projects. Reviewing and assessing cost estimates. Assist with nesting and batching of CNC machines. Willingness to assist with other duties as required in line with operational needs. Generate dispatch / delivery dockets. To be considered for this role you will have: · Proven experience in Reporting, System Maintenance, Inventory & Document Control. · Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. · Skilled in take-offs, cost estimating and supplier management. · Intimate knowledge of Structural Steel industry administration, fabrication & construction processes. · Established knowledge of CNC Beamline and plate processing machines. · Accurately read and interpret structural and mechanical fabrication drawings. · Above average skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. · The ability to multitask and work within a busy office environment · A positive attitude. · The ability to meet and work to deadlines. · A knowledge of Strumis management software or similar would be desirable but not necessary. · Familiarity with CAD technologies. · Ability to deal with rescheduling of projects at short notice.
