Description We are now seeking a Community Workforce Team Leader to join our Homecare team based in Bundoora, Melbourne in a full-time 6 month fixed-term contract (with view to permanency). About the Role Reporting to the Community Workforce Coordinator, you’ll play a key leadership role by: Supporting, mentoring, and overseeing a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers Ensuring high standards of care are delivered to our homecare clients across the region Leading staff performance, peer support visits, and service troubleshooting Participating in recruitment and onboarding of new Support Workers Collaborating closely with Care Partners, Coordinators, and rostering teams to ensure smooth service delivery Championing our SONA® (Happiness) values and promoting workforce wellbeing and engagement This is a diverse and rewarding role that offers the chance to grow your leadership skills while actively contributing to service quality and client outcomes. Skills And Experiences Must-Haves – We're looking for someone with: Proven leadership experience in community or aged care settings People management capability — able to lead and support a diverse team Strong computer skills, including using documentation systems A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or related field Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Valid Driver’s Licence COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum 2 doses) Highly desirable – It’s a bonus if you have: Experience in a similar Team Leader or Coordinator role Effective time management and task prioritisation skills Confidence in conflict resolution and troubleshooting staff or client issues If you're ready to lead with purpose and make a lasting difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you.
