Description The Role The position will involve the delivery of our farm fresh products between Drinan QLD and the Brisbane QLD markets. 1 trip per week, up to 2 drops with a minimum payment of 500kms per run Rate per km: $0.6678 per km . Loading and unloading rate $45.38 per hour . Truck: Kenilworth K200 with B double refrigerated van Key Responsibilities Safely loading and unloading products Transporting products to and from regional and remote locations. Carry out basic truck maintenance routines and other operational documentation. Complying with NHVR legislation related to fatigue, permits and notices. Carry out all duties diligently with a safely first focus. Complete and supply weekly timesheets in the required format. Undergo a Fitness to Drive medical every 3 years (Under the age of 49) or every 12 months (over the age of 49) A safety-first approach to your work to ensure your own safety and the safety of others. Reporting to: Logistics Transport Planner Skills And Experiences MC License with 3 years’ experience (essential). (BFM) Basic Fatigue Management Certified TLIF0005 (required, or willingness to obtain ). Forklift Ticket and experience loading/unloading trucks (advantageous). Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to complete and file driving records as required. Proven work experience as an MC truck driver, including evidence of a clean driving record and driving history. Driving History Record Required ( required, or willingness to obtain). Be reliable and punctual. A positive can-do attitude. Excellent work ethic, passionate about getting your job done safely and efficiently.
