The Ecommerce Shop Assistant role is integral to the efficient operations of the ecommerce shop. You will assist in stock control, visual merchandising, online product display, donation processing and delivering high-level customer service. Your ecommerce or retail experience, a knack for fashion and styling and great customer service skills are important to this role. The successful candidate will be supported with training and coaching to ensure effective performance in this role. Your Responsibility • Assess and select donations that are suitable for the online shop following Vinnies standards and brand guidelines • On a regular basis, upload and maintain appropriate stock listing on the online sales platform • Assist in making content of images to ensure accuracy and consistency of product display online. • Assist in displaying merchandise in an appealing and organised manner, and create engaging product descriptions • Assist in dispatching customer order within allocated schedule; ensure accuracy of items picked and dispatched • Respond promptly and courteously to customer enquiries and complaints/issues, requests for returns and exchangesYou Will Need • Experience in ecommerce or retail environments • Strong organisational and time management skills • Proficiency in using ecommerce platforms and related software • Retail fashion experience and an eye for styling and detailing • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to assess product quality and suitability for online sales • Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques • Familiarity with social media and online marketingApply Now If this sounds like you, don’t wait - apply now, we are interviewing applications as we receive them.
