Depot Supervisor Melbourne | Full-time Location North Fitzroy Join Kinetic as a Depot Supervisor and take charge of our daily depot operations. In this key leadership role, you'll manage a diverse team of drivers, dispatchers, and refuellers, ensuring optimal bus service performance and an outstanding customer experience. Your ability to engage your team, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and drive operational excellence will be critical in delivering our contract KPIs. About the Role As a Depot Supervisor, you will: Oversee daily operations by managing team resources, scheduling, and compliance with safety and fatigue regulations. Provide strong leadership to your team, ensuring performance is aligned with business KPIs, safety standards, and company values. Liaise with the Transport Workers’ Union and other stakeholders to manage performance, address grievances, and maintain a positive work environment. Monitor and analyse performance data, manage leave and absenteeism, and ensure accurate payroll processing. Lead investigations into incidents and drive continuous improvements through regular audits and safety initiatives. Support the depot Manager and deputise as required, ensuring smooth operations even in challenging situations. About You Proven leadership experience in managing large teams or operations in fast-paced environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Expertise in operational systems and logistics, with strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, BI Software, internal systems). Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable to a continually changing work environment. Holds (or is willing to obtain) a medium rigid driver’s licence and relevant authority.
