As an authorised partner of some of the industry-leading Robotic brands, they help clients streamline production, reduce downtime, and accelerate ROI with cutting-edge automation. Due to a buoyant pipeline of work and steady expansion plans, they are expanding the technical team and are seeking a Robotics and Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of both new and existing robotic cells, particularly in welding and palletising applications. Key Responsibilities •Design, program, and commission new robotic cells for welding and material handling applications •Troubleshoot and optimise the performance of existing robotic systems •Integrate and configure robotic controllers, welders, and peripheral devices •Collaborate with mechanical designers and production teams to develop end-to-end automation solutions •Conduct onsite evaluations, diagnostics, and upgrades for installed systems •Provide technical documentation, operator training, and ongoing support to clients •Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practices in all projects Skills and Experience •Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field •Minimum 5 years of hands-on industry experience in industrial robotics and automation •MUST have proven expertise in programming and integrating Fanuc Robots •Demonstrated experience in automating welding processes (ARC/MIG/TIG) •Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and control systems •Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics Please contact David for a confidential discussion on 0422229220
